12 Bible "Drills" for Kids

Over the years, in homeschooling our 7 kids, and in children's ministry (in churches and schools), we developed 12 Bible "Drills" to easily review a few basics in Christianity and Bible memory.

To watch all 10 of these videos will take 30 minutes, but to quickly review all of the drills with your kids will usually take about 15-20 minutes.

To introduce each concept is a full lesson that can easily take longer, but this idea is simply to frequently review some fun Bible basics.

• Using Colors, what did God create on the SIX Days of Creation?
• BLACK: -- (In the beginning was GOD and nothing!)
• WHITE: Day 1 -- God said, "Let there be light!"
• BLUE: Day 2 -- God separated waters above from waters below.
• GREEN: Day 3 -- God created the Land, Plants, and Seeds!
• YELLOW: Day 4 -- God created the Sun, Moon, and Stars!
• ORANGE: Day 5 -- God created the creatures of the sea and sky!
• BROWN: Day 6 -- God created the creatures of the land, and man!
• RED: Day 7 -- God rested.

• From Ephesians 6:10-18

1. I am the Lord Your God. You shall have no other Gods but Me.
2. Do not make any idols to bow down to and worship.
3. You shall not take the Name of the Lord in Vain.
4. Honor the Sabbath Day and keep it holy.
5. Honor your father and mother.
6. You shall not MURDER.
7. You shall not commit ADULTERY.
8. You shall not STEAL.
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10. You shall not COVET.

• Who were the TWELVE Tribes of Israel?
• Song: "Rueben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, Joseph and brother Benjamin, still 4 more left to go..., Dan and brother Naphtali, Gad and Asher, this is why, God gave Isaac 12 sons and from then He made a great nation."
• God is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob
• and He's my God too!
• God called Abraham because he would train his children after him. As a family, we want to glorify God through our lives.
